How much would it cost to refurb a 12 spoke alloy?
I.E. shot/sand blast and repaint and laquer.

i'm getting mine done.
 
£10 for a bump/dent.
£35 for refurb
£10 for 'special' finish (wild colour, etc)
£5 for the centre cap (stripped down completely- no plastic)
 
2 days turn around.

this is my 'spare'. i got it of a member with a big dent in it. all gone now. Grin just need a tyre.

they're going to be a mad titanium colour! Cool

Finally bit the bullet and put my spare set of alloys in for refurb and powder coating since I don't think I'll get any chrome ones now. Hope to pick them up later this week so I'll let you know how it goes. Thanks Andrew, these are good guys.

My brother had some Cortina Ghia alloys done by these a good few years ago. I didn't think they were still going. Did a good job back then, although I do remember they weren't cheap.

I checked - they want £49.50 for complete refurb, maybe more if got a deep gash

Picked the wheels up today.. lovely job, I'm well pleased. Should I tell you that they were £165 including the center caps?? Now just need to get the tyres changed over.

i've had a look for some tyres (need 2). think i'll have to get cheaper ones this time. Sad might go for Hankook VENTUS SPORT K104 @ about £60 each. Undecided

My tyre fitter says these are far better than the Hankook's. Smiley
