You can choose the cheaper option of fitting a rad off the 2.3 like highlander has done. You will need to change the expansion bottle as well though. Still a lot cheaper than getting a 24v rad

Ive done it too, off a 12v 2.9. works a treat, bottle changed too. Cheapest quote i had was £186 from Carspares Shocked

Hi there. Can you tell me. Does your replacement rad have a temp connection half way down the side of the rad below the top hose connection? What happens to the hose that used to go to the top of the 24v rad. Just gets left out I am guessing? wondered if it could just be plugged until a replacement tank is available

i got my cossie rad referbed for £120, it had a brand new matrix fitted for that, just used the original plastic sides and re-sealed.
 
list time i checked ford wanted over £300 for a cossie rad  Shocked
