If you look at page 3 here you can see it:
http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/manual/engines/dohc2_3/2300CylHdRnew.pdf
but not much information, you can see 2 studs that you will probably need to remove. Mine were only finger tight (and in a different place) but if you need a socket for the studs it’s E7 (female torx). The 2 nuts are bigger than the 4/5 bolts. The 5th bolt is vertical and difficult to get at – easiest from below so make sure you can get at it before draining down.

You can see the location of the vertical bolt on ebay item 290237811297 (not suggesting you buy it Shocked).

You can leave most bits bolted to the manifold inc the fuel rail.
To remove the servo vacuum pipe prise up the little collar and pull the pipe out.

Some plastic/rubber seals if they’re not damaged will revert to shape with heat (and some may shrink). I dropped them all into boiling water and reused them and haven’t had any leaks.

If you're due an oil change the filter's nice and easy to get at while the manifold is off.

hi to all members.
well carrying on from my first post regarding the inlet manifold removal,i followed the advice given, and i got the manifold off with no problems...im happy to say that i found no cracks in the manifold at all.just 2 rotten gaskets..the orange one was the worst..thats the gasket for the water ways..so in with new gaskets..and a rebuild..started first time and is running well,i found some more wiring with the insulation crumbled away,so a job in the spring...over the next few days we will be keeping an eye on the water level...but i see no reason to doubt that the job was a success. Smiley...thanks again to those that offerd great advice. Smiley.
