Could anyone tell me what is that, and shouldn't it be something connected to it? (It's under the airflow filter on my RHD) Thanks

If it has an electrical connection, which it appears to have, then it is receiving info from the EEC and reads the Manifold Absolute Pressure. It is shown on THIS diagram but its function does not appear to be mentioned.

It seems there's a little language barrier between. Do you mean it measures the "outair" pressure (I mean the atmosphere)? Am I correct? If it's a sensor: 1. It ahs to measure the pressure 2. it has to report results. for point 2 - This is a connector for point 1 - Shouldn't be there a pipe form air throttle?

Barometric presure sensor Only fitted to 16v Auto's EEC V TECHNICAL SERVICE TRAINING BOOK SAYS " The barometric presure sensor sends the EEC-V a signal corresponding to instantaneous atmospheric presure . this signal combined with the TP signal in engine load conditions in which the engine torque cannot be determined from the MAF signal o form a substitute signal . the engine torque is required to control the precise contact presure of the brake bands in the A4LDE transmission to ensure smooth and slip free gear changes "

I searched through the Microcat for "sensors" and found it that way but the part number given is different to that you gave .. Maybe it because its an EU vehicle and my Microcat is for the UK . I don't know .
