6x9's in the scorp it can be done

When I got my car a previous owner had made a hash job of fitting the rear speakers.
It looked like he had cut the holes with an axe in both the parcel shelf cover and the metal base itself.
The speakers weren't even secure in the shelf he had made no attempt at putting a screw in.
God knows what injuries a 6x9 could do in the event of an accident.
As my family was going to be in this car I made it a priority to secure the speakers. I left it at that for a while but it did look shabby as the holes weren't even hidden by the speakers.
recently I had the shelf appart to fit my new high level brake light and decided to tidy it up as best I could.

Could it be a reflection Huh

Been looking at the pics before I shrank them and its not the seal.
The ends of the seal are actualy next to the latch.
What you can see is the corner guttering of my house and next door, the reason there is nothing in between is the car was reversed upto the garage wich is single storey. the line that goes diagonaly across the rear window is my telephone line.
Honest its the truth  Grin

The car's parked in front of 2 semis I think, you can see the rooflines Wink

The speakers look very nice, I love my music and the fronts in the Scorp just don't cut it with sonics, the bass is too shallow/harsh for my ears; I have it faded to about R6, most then coming through the rears. I'm not after eardrum splitting loudness but I like the low end to sound deep and uncompressed, the boot space makes quite a nice reflex box Wink, a better head unit/speakers would be nice but I try and keep my car looking standard Smiley.

Semi = Semi detached house Wink, not large size truck as it may mean across the pond Smiley
