Another one!!

Picked up another Scorpio off ebay tonight, the plan was to break it so I bought it unseen with no tax or mot so I wasnt expecting much.
2.0 16v Ultima Saloon in Loden Green a lovely colour that i've never come across before.
The owner was a retired mechanic who had looked after it really well and apart from a couple of bits on the real arches its in mint condition lovely and polished, you would think no one had ever sat in the back of it, looks almost like a new car.
Four new tyres, new front discs and pads
Anyway had a good drive in it and I can hardly fault it, the dimming mirror has the oval of liquid in it and the rear calipers are sticking but thats it. MOT at the end of the week i think.
And all for £170!

Looks good! Fantastic price  , no wonder you buy cars, it's a whole lot cheaper than buying the parts.
You really need to post a photo of this magnificent fleet you have, it would be awesome to see.

It is a lovely colour, its like that pearlescent effect, kind of fading green into purple into black, i'm really taken with it

Sad but true, I was originally looking at this car as two coil packs, a set of tyres , 4.27 diff, spare autobox and some bits and pieces, its probably worth the money in tyres alone..
plus by the time you remove what you want and scrap them thats another £100 back..
This one should be around for a while yet though, the problem is I'm almost at a situation i've never been at before and I might be forced to SELL one!!

I did ,thanks stuart...  ....was tempted on the 2.9 from greenock earlier but as not much engine parts compatable,was hardly worth it.. how much space you got anyway stuart.

That looks a cracker Stuart. Glad someone else other than myself has taken a liking to Loden green. An absolutly beautiful colour, especially in full sun ( lots of gold flecks ) . I still have 1/2 a tin of touch up paint if you want it m8

Sadly i'm going to have to SELL this one as I'm over my Scorpio limit
Had it been a 24v or a diesel I'd have kept it but I'm not really a 16v fan.
