well the thing that all scorpio drivers fear most has happened to me! yes, total write off  just having to wait and see what the insurance offer me for it. i'm going to go and have a look at it today, see what i can make off it. the repairer was up at £2.3k and climbing  but you know them, they know how to charge!!

OMG !! Andrew ... so sorry to see that ... worst nightmare I know ... if there's anything I can do then just shout .. all parts are here if you need them .. for free if things are tight .. < maybe suggest a contract repair using s/h parts to keep away from write off ? .. see how it goes when the dust settles first I guess ... really sorry Andrew mate and DON'T LEAVE !! ... we all need ya ! ..

hi guys
thanks for all the great offers of help. i've had a look at it and it doesn't look good. the inner wing is bent and the slam panel has rised slightly. also it won't start. thought it was the fuel cut off switch but it didn't trip out. i've found a big multi-plug (like the cruise control one) which has snapped off from somewhere behind the drivers headlight, so it might be that.
i'll need to sue her/ her company for my gas install as it doesn't get covered. 
still, no one was hurt, so that's not bad.

Geez Andrew, like everyone else has said I’m truly sorry to hear this. I will say one thing though Andrew, you are a true credit to the Scorpio community and your commitment to helping Scorpio owners through the site and at the meets is very commendable. I along with many others will be sorry to see you have to depart from the Scorpio community. STN summed it up perfectly "we all need ya"!!! I regret there's not much I can do being over this side of the pond but I know we have a good bunch of people on here that will do whatever they can for you.

It really is a sad sight to see your motor like that. But all may not be lost just yet.
Danny summed things up perfectly when he described this place as a community. And it is. If there is a way to get the parts together and get this fixed, then I'm sure we can a do it between us.

dont have wing/bonnet/bumper available, but have got the washer bottle, and probably o/s headlight glass, and more no doubt.
