Good stories about Scorpios

From tme to time I read on this forum that someone's Scorpio has done 210k on all original parts (except for oil and tyre changes etc).
However, much of the talk is about problems encountered and how much some defect is annoying and costing the owner - and that's fine too.
But, if you didn't care for your Scorp you would not be on this forum so can we have any more positive stories about your ownership experience?
For example, what's the coldest your engine has started from, what's the highest mileage car on the forum, who bought a Scorpio for a song and is delighted with the car etc etc?
