hi guys, firstly what were the largest rims that ford fitted as standard to the scorp. eg 18x8 I ask cos i'm looking at changing from my little 14x7 wires to maybe some 18s or 20s. Also if any one knows what the largest tyres fitted to the largest stock wheels were that'd be a help cos i could work out the rolling radius. Thanks

If I were to stray from my 12-spokes, I'd only go slightly larger and similar in design. This one on e-bay looks good to me. I think they might be Mundaneo wheels Mondeo Wheels on a Scorpio

Hi Tom, Hows things, If you can get a 215/30 you may be able to fit a 20", We put 18"s on my brothers mk3 and we were told we would not be able to do this but they are on there and are just fine. You'll have to find a good wheel dealer as most of them out there talk through thier arse and haven't got a clue. Here is a link to a tyre size calculator so you can get an idea to the right size tyre. http://www.tyresave.co.uk/tyresize.html Regards Richard

hi guys, thanks for the advice. It was pointed out to me by a bunch of chavs that i had nice rims(refering to my wires)they then asked what else they'd fit... 2+2= chav wheel thievery so i think i'll prob stick with my wires as they can't be nicked by chavs with spanners. The thought of investing £1500ish on rims only to have em nicked is not worth it.
