I'm having a long week-end blitz on servicing , so you'll forgive my many queries. Is it normal for the climate control system to produce ice droplets ? After a long run ( in fairish weather although the CC was on ) I noticed the front crossmember near the radiator festooned with little hailstones. Any thing to worry about ?

under normal circumstances, yes in some weather conditions, and after using the cc you will see a pool of water beneath the car, just condensation really..... as long as you are not losing water from anywhere else, the answer to the question is yes, dont worry about it... HTH craig..
