Today while cleaning the contact surfaces on another non Scorpio remote I noted that the contact pad because it was white had the button covered in what I presumed was carbon. In the past a few times I have cleaned my Scorpio remote but over time it becomes less effective so I wondered it it had lost its carbon. I have done a search but have only found a USA site http://www.2spi.com/catalog/spec_prep/cond_paints3.shtml This is what i would like to try does anyone have a link to a UK seller.

Isn't this a similar product to the 'conductive paint' that has been mentioned before in connection with the buttons on the remote?. The posts on that subject usually mention Maplins if my memory is correct. You could check the Maplin website. HTH
