Headlights Washers

On my 1998 "S" reg 2.3. these work OK if you get someone to work them while you watch from outside.
But on the 1998 "R" reg Cosworth these are blanked off as the last owner told me someone tried to nick them.
He has done a very neat job so I was thinking just leave it.
But on ordering some other bits from Fordparts I asked the price, thinking well I might as well re-instate them,
But they are £42.08 each side; that's £84,16 plus vat £14.72 so that's a massive £98.88. I now thinking its just not worth it for what little they do.
Does any one know how they fit, I presume the washer tubing is in place.

John,

there are two screws in each washer assembly that fit below each hole in the bumper. The tubing is attached and runs back to the washer bottle. Each time the headlights are on and the washers are activated the force of the water pushes the jet assembly up and through the hole where it discharges the water onto the headlight. Easy to fit or replace

thanks baz,
now all I got to decide is wether to spend that amount of money or just leave it as it is. or wait for madmanscorpio to have some for auction.
I mean its a hell of a lot of money for what they are.
But again thanks to baz for putting my brain into gear on this subject.

hi to baz again.
i decided to go ahead and buy some news ones off FordParts because why not have a top cosworth car with things not working, better to have it, as it left the factory.
But I was wrong to add VAT on, FordParts it seems quote with the vat already in, a bit different from Ford Main Dealers. so total is £84.16 full stop.
thanks for your help again.
