Tha anoying rattle under the car has been diagnosed by QickFit as both cats needing to be replaced.

Is it usual for both to go at once?

Any one  know of a cheap supplier of cats on the net.?

Are they much of a job to fit..I have access to a lift

1995 24v Cosworth  35,000 miles

Wow...how can you have a 10 year old Cosworth with only 35,000 miles on the clock?

That equates to going to the corner shop and back everyday for 10 years!!

I can never understand how a car that is 10 years old or more in some cases can have so few miles. Mine had 58K on when I bought it in September and now has 65K and I thought mine was relatively low!

well some people don't like to use their scorpio's to much, in case the door locks wear out, or the drive shaft or wheel bearings go, or worse still the wiring looms rot or burn out.
