I'm confused Dazzer - where are the extra tweeters in your Ultima?

I think you will find that some of the earlier executives and ghias did not have the tweeter in the rear speakers. They were just a flat speaker on the rear shelf. Probably left over from Granada production I think Baz

Can only assume that someone changed the rears in my 95 Ghia as it has the same speakers as my 97 Ultima.

My Fathers had the ones without the tweeters this is a 96 Ghia, I replaced these later with ones with tweeters and the sound was improved but still not enough for me,

I saw a 94 Granada recently and it had the tweeters on the speakers, identical to the speakers on my 98 - Speaking of which, I need a new rear speaker as the main cone part has never worked - only the tweeter!!!

Hi all, Sorry to dredge this subject up again, but the main site mentions this about the Ghia spec: "2007 RDS radio/cassette, 8 speakers (6 on estates)" Mine (saloon) has main units (with the little tweeter pods) on the rear parcel shelf and two in the front doors (well, one in each). Where are the other two? Or are they just tweeter cones on the door speakers...? N_H (I liked the phrase so much, I think I'll use it again - "tweeter pods")
