Cruise Control

Last week I have some problems with the cruise control of my scorpio. Starting the system by pressing the start button and the + button only the dashboard light went on but cruise control does not work. Somes days later by chance I checked the rear-light of the car and I find out that both stop-light-bulbs had a blow out. After changing the bulbs cruise control works fine as everyday. Any ideas of this correlation? greatings PeGe

Ah, Glasshopper , do not question the ways of the Scorpio , it's wonders to perform, be grateful that the Omnipotent One was in a good mood and smiled on you , your problem was a small one and easily solved.

Thanks for answer, hi mr_floppy, but what is a Glasshopper Hi scorpio_man, I dont need the cars horn during this time- so I dont know whether it works. Is it possible that the cruise control checked the wiring loom of the stop light? And if the circuit is interrupt the system doesnt works.
