SP, there is a very good section on the main site regarding what to look out for when buying. http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/advice.htm There is a section which mentions ex-police and ex-government Scorpios. Incidentally, there is one on autotrader and ebay at the moment. Based in Belfast, it is an ex government 24v Ghia. In burgandy but with no sunroof as usual Baz

I had an ex ministry scorpio without sun roof- enabled me to fit a remote drop down tv/dvd monitor ( no runners etc) and i didnt miss the sunroof. Obvious things to check for are , no smoke from exhaust on start up, noise from timing chains, clonks from steering, and exhaust blows. There will be others to give similar advise ime sure. john.n

Solarpanel I assume your site name refers to your hairstyle, like so many of us in our middle and senior years the little grey things just ran away!! I am suprised they let Mr Plod have AC, as they must have thought they don't need it in a cold country like ours!!! Bob
