Hi,
How hard would it be to fit cruise control?
I know what your going to say, "is this guy real?" "he`s asked about climate control, now cruise. why didn`t he just buy an Ultima?"
Well the thing is the Scorp i have now is a good un, it came up at the right price at the right time. and yes it has the `BOAT` engine, lol
So i don`t wanna sell and get a higher spec car.

you've answered your own question! 
it's all to do with sensors. they're every where!
there is aftermarket kits available (i think), but i don't know much about them. they might be like the old manual choke, just holding the throttle open, for want of a better discription.
