Hi. I got 3 wheels from the local scrappy the other week, the multi spokers. and my bestest buddy sent me a spare to make 4. all 6.5jx 16" Now i also got a full set off ebay 4 of, now these are 6jx16" to be honest the ones off ebay are in better condition, a few curbing marks thats all. Now the thing is i`ve ordered some 225/50/16`s tyre`s will these still fit the 6j`s safely? or should i stick with the 6.5j`s. Thanks for all your replies in advance. Jay

Thanks Snoopy, a very informative site. Put the tyre size in to the calculator 225/50/16 and came back with an ideal wheel rim size of between 6x16 up to 7.5x16. So my 6j`s will be fine for the 225`s. Thanks for all the help. Jay

. martin_rowe you were right. I got the 225`s on the 6J wheels and they look SH*T. So had them taken off again and put on the 6.5J`s and they look a lot better, pitty i couldn`t of had them sprayed first but i need the wheels and tyre`s for a trip i have planned this week. The tyre`s that were on the car were illegal and had 195/65/15`s on TSW Stealths. they did not do the car any justice at all. Jay
