front brake discs 24v

Hi all
Just been and collected a pair of front brake discs for my 24valve from local ford dealer. Upon getting home and having a look at them i noticed that they are slightly different. One of the discs has a a small groove on the outer rims whilst the other disc has a groove on the outer rims that is twice as long as the one on the other disc.
Phoned local ford dealer but no help at all.
Hope one of the members here can help me.

this is balancing grooves. i though the same when i saw mine. they will be fine.

hi there
no, don't think so. i never checked really, just fitted them. make sure you clean them first. they're coated in oil/grease stuff.
