Hello All Without repeating the numerous post on rotting looms in V etc. Has anyone replaced, rather than repair, the complete loom that runs from auto box through V to engine bay connectors. How much did it cost? and were parts readily available ? Looks like loom could give an old car a new lease of life. Thanks david.

| Sorry David can't help I haven't need to touch the loom yet (touch wood) but what do you mean by through the V are you refering to the injector harness between the plenium chamber ? Is there something going on there that we should be wary about

Hi David. I replaced my loom with a new one bought from Fordpartsuk in May last year. Cost mega bucks. About £300.. Talk with Roger. I think they souced it from Holland. Dont forget to get the special ford grease for the connection plugs. (stops corrosion of the pin/connectors) Regards Mike in Luton..

Hi David, I was luck and when i bought my car it had a replacement 98 fuel loom fitted The best thing to is look at the cars that are breaking on Ebay as you can pick them up for about £40. But if you want a new one I would try Ford parts uk as they had some a few months ago Cheers Barrie
