iv just got myself a nice new trolley jack,,, im dying to get under my scorp n have a good look round.. anyone tell me the best places to put the jack ??? front and rear ??? many thanks kev

The front "B " points on Highlander's diagram are positioned a bit askew , don't put your trolley jack anywhere near the sills , lift the front of the car from the longitudinal member which runs 6 inches inboard from the sills. Alternatively you can lift the rear wheels by placing the jack under the the rear trailing arms, quite safely.

depends where you want to lift, to get the front up put the jack under the subframe below the engine, to get the rear up put the jack under the diff. Both these are plenty strong enough to raise the car but dont go under without putting axle stands under there first!
