Just out of interest, what are all you folks getting, mileage wise from a full tank? I put £57 to fill our 24v yesterday on a run to Southport from Inverness and it did 435miles before empty. That was cruising at no more than 55mph (90kmh) with Cruise Control set towing a trailer with a VW Beetle weighing 850kg attached! Is this good? i thought so considering its a 2.9 v6 Answers below please, 2.0 ?? 2.3 ?? 2.9 12v ?? 2.9 24v ??

I do mainly urban and suburban driving and not too much motorway stuff and I get about 500-550KMs from a tank. So about 300 miles or so. If I drive down to the coutry at constant speeds, I would get about 400 - 450 miles. This is with a 2.3 automatic with almost 170,000 KMs on the clock

Andy, Yes you really got a good result on that trip. I guess not to many stoppages. However you said not more than 55, was that on the speedo? In which case you were wombling along at about 50 if you like many other Scorp owners have the 10% safety margin built in, even so a good figure with a tow. My trip was mostly at 70mph on the gps. Yes geoff that was with Cruise set @ 90kmh. HGV's overtaking with ease. Stoped twice in each direction but then i drive for a living so i am used to long stints.
