Has anyone darkened their own headlights to give the facelift look?? If so would love to hear what spray you used etc etc?

yes mate, paulscorp done his own, on a spare afternoon, it really is quite eay to do, just be careful when you dismantle the headlight unit, as the clips do tend to break, you might need some silicone sealant too, as for cost....£15 maximum to do the pair.

putting pauls homemade ones along side my "actual" facelift lights, there is only a very very small difference, it would take a very keen scorpio enthusiast to notice that difference, and then, only if they are side by side,
 
pauls effort is top class......reccommended A+

p.s, dont just try tinting the outside of the lense, its the chrome reflector inside that needs the attn.

get all the chrome off first then spray matt balck or rear brake dark tint sprayHuh?

it does doesnt it... some 50% uprated headlight bulbs on ebay at mo..£15..may spend out to see what they are like!!
