Does anyone know if all seats came with the heating elements fitted? Mines got the Raven cloth trim and if they came with the elements i wouldn't mind sorting out the loom/relay etc to get them working.. Anyone know?

my Ghia doesnt have heated seats nor are they fitted with heating elements, i think if the car doesnt have the switches for them they wont have the elements, of course they might not be the original seats

Very unlikely the seats will have heating elements fitted across the range. I thought heated seats were only available in leather? In any case, if you don't mind a bit of seat surgery it should be possible to change the element over but very difficult I'd say; and you still the need the relays, wiring, switches, etc. Darren

I had a B-reg scorpio hatchback with the reclining rear seats and electric self-levelling suspension. Think that had heated seats too (though leather came later). I really miss that car. Darren

I had a '87 Scorpio Granada CL and now a '95 Scorpio exec, both had/has cloth interior and both had/has heated seats. So it would seem like the heated seats are "something they fitted if they had available parts" (like most of the other stuff on the Scorp )
