I get a squeek from my blower fan if it runs at a certain speed, I seem to remember reading that somebody else had this problem and was pointed toward a page explaining how to squirt wd 40 onto the motor without too much hassel to sort this annoying problem out, anybody know what I'm on about or have I been dreaming ??

Heater blower control. This should help you locate it. Centre of car at rear of engine. http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/acindex.htm. There is also a picture here http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/acdrain.htm. The unit is just visible behind the bulkhead dead centre and you can see a purple/black wire which is one of the connectors to the HBC. Disconnect the wires undo the screws and the HBC will lift out enabling you to see inside.
