Topic: wheel arch hieght (Read 560 times) |

does anyone know if the front and rear arches are supposed to be the same hieght or not, currently mine is lower at the back by about 32mm or 1 and a 1/2 inches in old money. cheers

On my diesel the rear tyres sit about an inch up in the rear arches and the front looks as though its been jacked up for off-roading, but overall it doesnt look as though i'm driving around with an elephant in the boot. My cossie on the other hand sits dead level and quite low. Matt

Possibly it is that (as the diesel uses the same front springs as the cos) the diesel engine is lighter than the 24V, but too heavy for the 4-cyl front springs? Darren

| The one I took out from my other 'ongoing project' diesel scorp seemed to be made from dark matter... 208 odd kg i read somewhere. So yes, i think your theory is right
