| Yep, although 98 reg'd vehicles should be facelifts not all were. Ford basically used up lots of spare bits when putting them together at the end, and also as mentioned scorp man, a lot were a year or two sitting around before being registered. The build date could be 97 or even 96. You'll also find that the facelifts (and sone pre facleifts) started losing equipment as the supply finished like my 97 ultima doesn't have puddle lights but the 95 one did. Also I'm sure Ghia versions were available till late on, the executive was dropped and ghia became the base model. Paul

if you look closely, that one has a facelift rear and pre-facelift front!! According to my database....the car should be a facelift as it is a 21/10/1997 build date and is classed as a 1998 model year car which should signify a facelift car. It doesn't have the centre rear headrest though by the looks of the photos so something is well wrong with the car. Maybe a front end damaged job!!

That is one of those which has sat in a field for ages. It looks straight enough but won't have the side airbags and rear centre inertia belt etc. Baz
