I had a wierd problem with my PATS. Intermittant fault codes, car not starting sometimes, Led permanantly on etc.
See topic "PATS Problem - I Think" in Problem Forum.
It turned out to be water running onto the PATS module because the aircon drain pipes were blocked.
I was lucky, it could have been expensive so check yours before it happens to you.
