Hello all....how much approx should i be paying for a service to the autobox??
Any do s and donts to let the mechanic know about.??

100 notes is good from a garage, i done mine myself, and the parts were around 60 squid (most expensive being the oil)

p.s make sure you use the correct oil, if in doubt, supply it to him yourself.

I had mine done earlier this year, bought my own oil (amsoil from http://www.performanceoilsltd.co.uk/automatic_transmission_fluid.html) £100 for 10 litres and pan filter (don't forget the 2 'o' rings & Gasket) £30 from local FMD then paid £50 to my local garage to do the job, you will also need to get a shorter bolt for the new filter as it has been modified
