Cleaning 'octopus'

Hi, have seen on here that some cossie owners have gleaming cylinder heads how do i achieve this? Have tried degresing/cleaners but it just removes the oil/gunk still doesn't leave that "look at my shiney engine" look.

I personally am too lazy to do the REALLY shiney engine type thing so I use..... wait for it...... wet wipes
