The light isn't working on the Symbol/picture for the front illuminated screen heater(Not in the switch, but next to it). How do i get this working again? Do you have to remove the whole CC panel? Huh

No you need to remove the cc panel to access the 2 switches for the heated windows. With the cc panel out of the way you can now remove the switches and it is possible to open them up and replace the bulb. I usually use THESE as a replacment.

The bulbs in those switches can be replaced if you have some patience and can use an iron, no need to junk the entire panel Wink

I'll dig out the (Maplin) part numbers of the LEDs I used if this will help Smiley, You can use a 12V 5mm Green LED and refit the little green condom thinggy back over to give it more colour.

It's not the switch lights that have gone(Amber ones) its the ones next to them with the picture of the screen on them that illuminate when headlights are on, so my previous question still stands. Do i have to replace CC panel to get it working as this is part of the CC panel?

The bulbs for the green legends on the heated window switches are still mounted inside the switches, there are also 3 bulbs (3 if I remember correctly, easily replacable) in the c/c panel for illuminating the dials. I wish I'd snapped a pic when I had all the dash to bits, may have helped you Smiley

Either way your c/c panel is safe Wink

Well, they say the panel can just be prised out but mine didn't want to budge so I removed the entire walnut fascia and pushed it out from behind.

Here is the link to the page if you are brave enough to have a go Smiley.
