They are 4", but you will need to make an adapter plate to make a standard set fit (not difficult )

Thanks.. I was investigatin my audio problems today, I recon I can fit in some 5.25's in the front. And as luck would have it I have a nice pair of infinity 552i's ... Just need to make up a mount for them.. My rear speakers are inoperative... Fortunalty I have a nice pair of Infinity 652i's.... Just need to make up a mount for them!!! With them installed I should have some reasonable sounds....Just don't want the amp going DC on me and burinign the drivers! Unfortunatly my CD and Stalk now seem to be dead!! And I had to bodge in a 13CM sony thing as I destroyed the ford one taking it out... TT

Yeah, the fronts are 4" When I blew one on my old Granada Scorpio, I decided not to go for Ford ones. I managed to get some 5" Kenwoods in there. Went straight in as far as I remember. But they were straight speakers whereas the Ford ones have the middle bit directed towards you. If the Ford ones just had that little bit more punch, I think they'd be hard to beat.

For a 4" Driver the ford ones are prety good. Inspection of the faile unit showed the suspension roll to be intact but the gule holding it to the basket had failed.. I could have re-glued it I guess.. But the unit is now in the scrap bin.. TT
