Pressing the lock button on the key fob, it locks, press it a second time and it double locks - press it a third time and it takes the double locking back off, a fourth time and it double locks again - and so on.

Rather curious behaviour.

ahhh, the scorpio designers with their infinite wisdom of driver choice; obviously for those times when you dead lock, then realise you dont need it dead locked but dont actually want to unlock it totally then decide you do want the deadlock on afterall.....

hope this helps

yep that is a pain, its ok at night as the led on the dash stays on for 5 seconds ish before flashing when you deadlock, also the drivers side window control panel illuminates briefly....

I've spoken to FMD in Norwich about getting the hazards to flash on locking(Reprogramming via OBD) but they know nothing
about it Sad Can anyone point me in the direction of someone that can do it in the Norwich/Norfolk area.

Got our 24v done at the local dealer, what a nightmare. It should have been a 10 mintue job, were there a couple of hours as I recall. Eventually they decided that the indicators wouldn't flash because the bonnet switch was faulty. Wanted to keep the car overnight and charge £116 for a new one inc fitting. Asked to see the car and was told I had to pay £76 before I could have access to it (1 hour on the computer).

Enter brother. We pay the money, "politely" request to see someone who knows what is going on, take him outside and demonstrate the working bonnet switch.

He asks for 10 mintues with the car. 10 minutes later the indicators flash, for no extra charge.

Its about getting the right person for the job  Roll Eyes
