Had new front screen put on car and the wipers have been moved. How do i move the wipers so they're parallel to base of screen? Have taken cover off base of arm and undone the nut but it seems unwilling to move. What am i missing here? Dont want to lever arm off and break something.

I soaked mine in wd40 when i adjusted them a while back. Lift the wiper up to vertical and 'wiggle' the base slightly backwards and forwards with a bit of a upwards tug and it should then just pop off. You need have the nut removed for this.
Hope that helps a bit, it worked for me
