Seek 'n Seal

This product was made to seal small leaks in windscreen seals. It was a clear almost liquid substance that penetrated deep into the seals, finding and closing small leaks. Does anybody know where I can get hold of some? It seems to have disappeared from the shops.

If not, can anyone recommend a substitute. My Daughter's new car has a leak into the passenger footwell which is proving an absolute cow to find, but I'm going to treat the windscreen seal anyway.

Thanks for any help.  Wink

I've seen it in my local garage.....he seems to have alot of old stuff hanging off his shelves.
Was thinking about it for the MK1 Granny....but can't remember the exact price (under a fiver I think).

I'll be back there in a couple of days & will get some if you want it Spanners  Wink

Thanks for this Jonny.  Problem has now been solved, as my friendly local accessory shop produced a couple of VERY dusty tubes from under the counter. £3.99 so probably a fair deal.
As it happened, the sunroof seals were letting water into the door pillars . It's a common problem on these Citroen Saxo cars apparently.

Thanks for your kind offer.

Buy them and put them on Ebay for £10 each !!  Grin Grin

I'll get some anyway, as it's rare stuff & as far as I can remember, it works a treat.

A couple of dozen tubes should be enough  Wink  Grin

SD/JC. Any chance of putting some details of the maker etc on the site as it may be useful to have a contact for the supplier if the product is still being produced?.

Lucky Spanners didn't want one, as my local garage only had the one & I've just bought it  Wink

It's made by Comma & comes in a 100 mmm tin with a long nozzle (bit like the old 3 in 1 can).

I've checked the website but can't see that they make it anymore...unless it's been re-named & re-packaged  Smiley
