breakdown... had to happen one day
« on: Dec 11th, 2006, 8:21pm »

hi there

my car has broken down. well. not broken down, just won't start. all i get is 1 click (from the starter?).

so, the question. does anyone know what side (looking into) of the engine the starter is on? can you get to it from above for a little tap?

hopefully i can get it to start. not too keen on towing it home, it being an auto and all that. Sad

Bad luck,   Ain't  you in a motoring organisation ?

I   know the  AA/RAC   are fairly useless  at faultfinding  ( or can't be bothered )   especially  on  complicated beasts like the Scorpio,  but at least  they  get  you   home  or  to  a  garage.

Remove bolts 16 and 17 at each side, then 23 which holds the diff to the body. pop off the anti roll bar and the whole lot drops  Grin
