2nd lock flash?

As some of you may remember, I swapped the CCM for a later one and found it would flash on double locking.
Today I double locked it with the remote, it double flashed and I walked away. I happened to glance back around 30 seconds later, just in time to see it give a another double flash.
So I went back to make sure it (checked the internal chrome door levers) was still locked, it was. I then unlocked and relocked it, carefully watched it double flash and stood waiting, and waiting for it to do it again - nothing.
So what was the second flash 30 seconds late all about?

Mine does that 2nd lot of flashing (when double/deadlocking it) but I have the recently talked about mod fitted.
Try it again. It should either be doing it or not. Certainly not a mixture of the two.

i've heard about a few cars that do this 'extra' flash. one idea is that it's switching on the interior sensors.

It spends most of its time safe in the garage and this is the first time I have locked it away from home. The second time I locked it there were a couple of distractions, so perhaps I missed the later flash. My Granada manual, (fitted with internal sensors) said it did delay activating them, so depsite my Scorp not being fitted with them - it might well still be indicating that they are activated. I'll try and watch it more carefully next time.
