has anyone tried programming up a newere mondeo style remote where the key is integral they have x3 buttons boot etc with later design membrane buttons etc...would be useful to know if anyone has tried ...if not will get one and see if can get to communicate rgds john

John, Can't speak for Mondeo ones but several people have tried Transit ones which look the same but don't work. I think one of the issues is that 'ours' work on a rolling code system. If you find one which is compatible you'll be a star!!.

RF frequency of operation might be another factor. I don't think they work on the usual for cars 432Mhz.
