Just found someone selling new units on ebay. EBAY HEATER MATRIX Thank you Admin (Snoopy) & Simmo Any experts who think this will fit a 98 scorp. A few other people have said replace only with FMD only at over £100. So is £29 + P+P realistic off ebay Or is it a NO, No @ Any advice. Cheers John

Hi I've just spoken to them and they do have two sizes listed, one for the top spec Ultima with Climate Control and one for the lower specs with air con. Thay manufacture them themselves so I think if you can give them the dimensions of the unit you remove, thay can get the right one to you. Good spot ! Best Regards Tony

The proper Ford part costs over £100 (£108 I think). So for £29, I wouldn't have thought that it is going to be the same spec. These cheapo ones tend to have less veins, are shorter than the proper ones & have a big bulbous plastic end which doesn't fit through the centre hole in the heater box. Why don't you ask them for a picture of the matrix that they are actually selling (not a general picture). Then you can post it on here & I'm sure someone will tell you if it's the same If you do get a picture...then my money's on the short, bulbous plastic end one
