Hiya, Hope there's someone else on here this early on a saturday ... Please can anyone tell me if the rear brakes on a 97 cosworth estate will be the same as those on my 96 2.9 12v estate? I've just broken a bit off whilst 'persuading' a seized floating nut on the caliper Cheers Paul

Your a star thank you very much ... The local scrappy has a cossie on the racks and all I need is the caliper anchor off it. One of the floating nuts on the nearside had siezed solid and no amount of penetrating oil was going to shift it. So I had it in the vice and was persuading with a socket and a long bar and got a little carried away. Both sides had siezed up but I managed to get the nearside ones out and cleaned up. I've put copperslip in there, that should be OK shouldn't it? Thanks for being there, this site is ACE, you've saved me time and more importantly £££ since I've had this car. I will defo be sending some dosh to keep the site going when I get paid at the end of the month. Cheers
