Sorry to be a pain, and yes, i have seen all the gen on removing the airbag and steering wheel, BUT, i think i must be missing something somewhere. To remove the airbag, i must remove the torx screws that hold it on, BUT i cant find them. I have had a mirror and torch shining at the rear of the steering wheel and can see what looks like four plastic lugs pushing through, but NO torx screws. This is the same for my 2.3 and my Cossie. Need to get at the electrics behind the airbag as i have no horn or cruise working. Help please!! Thanks Ian

there are two torx screws, one either side of the wheel at the back in the centre (between the plastic ones you can see) Remember to disconnect the battery for 10 minutes first in case you set the airbag off

Thanks Highlander, I finally found them, where you said and airbag now off. (Dont worry, battery has been disconnected for the last 1 1/2 hours while i tried to find the screws) LOL. For anyone else interested, a Torx T30 bit fits the screws. Cheers Ian

Found out why i had no electrics at the steering wheel. The spiral ribbon cable was broken. Replaced the assembly and all is now well. Took the cance to replace all those bulbs in the clock and heater controls that always seem to be blown too. In 3 years of driving Scorpios, i have NEVER had these bulbs work. Cheers again Ian PS: now just gotta get some heat, a speedo that reads right and a fuel sender that works, PHEW!!!
