Courtesy lights for facelift?

Hi, As you know for some reason Mr. Ford spared us from having courtesy lights for facelift models. I've just seen some courtesy lights on ebay and I wanted to know how easy is it to install them? Any advice/past experience would be appreciated. Thanks.

Thanks Dave. It doesn't look like 5 minute job.

deffo not a 5 minute job by the look of it, but worth it. my scorp has the puddle lights all working fine, i saw the ones you're looking at and thought about getting them as spares, they're a pretty rare item and apparently expensive if you can still get them from ford. if you can get them cheap enough, then get em, they're not a neccesity, but if you're like me, you'll know they're meant to be there and it'll irritate you till you get em.

Everyone assumped puddle lights, but you said 'courtesy lights'. If you meant the courtesy lights with the two eyeball spots in them, then they are a two minute install -drop straight in place.

I think he means the door lights Harry. Yalin, I fitted them to my previous S Reg facelift and it was a pig of a job. Needless to say I haven't bothered with the current silver facelift!

Sorry Harry, I meant the puddle lights. Although it is irritating me, I gave them a miss. I don't want to push my luck with Scorp's tempremental electrics!
