Did ford fit the same 12 spoke alloys to the mondeo, the ones I am going to look at are 6.5 j 16" but are fitted with 205 50 16 tyres. I would fit the 225 size to them, or it I should say, as I only require one.

Thanks for the reply, I am looking for a alloy for my scorp cosworth and someone local is selling a set of mondeo alloys and I wondered if they are the same wheels as on the scorp.  I think I might have worded the question wrong.

there not the same,

if you look at the hub cap on the scorpio they are held on with a 'keyed' lock screw

the mondeo version just have the push on ones with no screw.

the design is also slightly diffrent as the scorpio version seems to be more concaved and i thing it's slightly wider to take the 225 tryes as fitted to the scorpio

Thanks Mat, he said the centre caps have the screw to keep them on. I will get the part number  off mine and see if its the same. The part number is different to the one above in Pegasus, it ends in 3 and not 4. I was looking for ones local to me, Newquay Cornwall, as you can check the condition before buying.

a900one,
When buying new wheels, you should also ask/check what the offset is.

Careful about them, the ones on the Mondy have a different rim (with a raised rim on the outside of the rim if you get my drift Grin). Also a good point about the offset...far safer to get another Scorpio alloy Wink

Thats the dead giveaway for the difference between the 2 types.

The rim on the Mondeo ones take a knock-on balancing weight, whereas the Scorpio ones need to have stick-on weights to the inside of the rim (much neater).
