Hi Guys,

Anyone know the torque setting for the bolts on the rocker cover 2.0 16v? My old man is changing the rocker cover gasket and wants to know.

Thanks in advance guys

Hi Andrew, as always thanks very much for the info.

Now I don't want to sound like a total idiot but I’m assuming from the diagram that you torque all the bolts 3NM in the order shown and then start at the beginning and torque them up to 9NM? I would of thought it be the higher value first?

Thanks

hi danny

i think it's to locate the rubber seal to the cover correctly.

i did mine (inc the spark plug one), but didn't follow the instructions re order/torque and no1 plughole still leaks a wee bit.

best to as you're told. Wink
