I have hardly ever had any heat in the car since the day that I bought it.I have flushed and backflushed and still no better,I was going to change the matrix, glad I didn,t.I bought a can of Wynns cooling system flush, drained the system, poured in the contents of the tin and filled the system with fresh water, ran the engine for 15 minutes, drained and re-filled and drained again, filled up with new coolant,I just cannot believe it,scorching heat and I do mean scorching. .This stuff is magic and I would suggest anyone with the same problem as mine to try this before ordering that matrix,ok it might have taken an hour to do the job but well worth it. Roy.

I bought it at my local motorist supermarket £4.99p,I should imagine any decent shop should sell it.If you go onto the Wynns website it gives you details of all their products.Try this Roy. http://www.wynnoil.co.uk/

...I've used it before & it's good stuff, alot of the Wynns products are. I also always use their engine oil flush before every oil change, it gets all the nasty deposits out P.S....I find it pretty readily available from most motor factors, even Halfords

There was a load of stuff that came out rust etc. After leaving it in with engine running then draining and refilling and draining with clear water, the water came out dark brown so it shifted something.Refilled finally with new coolant and give it the JC method for bleeding, heater is roasting now. i like the sound of that, i've looked at coolant flush before, barrs i think, but got put off by the draining, fill and add flush, run for 30 miles, drain, flush, fill etc.......but it sounds like its worth the effort
