well i have always been a fan of Bosch blades personally, and used them for ages, however a mate recommended the new range of "fusion" blades that are now availiable (plenty on e-bay),well being a bit sceptical i shelled out the £15.00 odd quid and to be 100% honest glad i did, nicely curved to fit the windscreen, and very smooth operationally.... just my opinion, but very well worth the money.....

Some time ago I replaced my deteriorating, well kna**ered, Bosch blades with some from Lidl. 500mm (20"). These are German make, as you'd probably expect from Lidl, and come in a long yellow box. If you see any for sale...GRAB THEM! At around £2.99 a pair, they are too good to miss. They are excellent quality, and every bit as good as any expensive ones I've ever had. I bought two pairs, so I'm alright for a year or two. I have since found out that they are made by the same factory at Altmark, that make them for Bosch, and also for Volkswagen, Audi, Mercedes, and BMW.

Mate of mine was saying that Bosch are having problems with the quality of their parts lately...not sure exactly what problems but I have heard it mentioned on a couple of forums lately. I don't think it's Bosch, but the companies they sub contract out to for making the parts. Every year when the Mondy goes in for the MOT it gets failed because of torn rear wiper blade...I wouldn't mind but I don't even use the rear wiper . Now the nearly new fronts are starting to get noisy...I'll bear them in mind Craig, thanks Regards, Bruce.
