water pump for a cossie

i brought a new water pump .. it is made by a company called first line .. the ford one has11 holes for the bolts but this one has 12 and the pipes are at the wrong angle but the company are saying that the one they suppiled is the correct one

Hi, As far as I know pattern part pumps are not available for the 24Valve BOB Cosworth. I tried, but none of my suppliers could get one, so I had to go to FMD. From what you say I suspect you have been supplied a 2.9 12 Valve pump. You will need to get a refund and go to FPUK as they are quoting a good price on these, and it's the correct pump. Regards Dave

The 12v & BOA early 24V share the same pump. Lots of pattern ones around. The later Scorpio BOB 24V has it's own slightly different design. A ford only part.

Had this done recently, they also had problems with getting hold of correct water pump. Will check receipt, when I can find where Pam has 'safely' put it maybe another supplier for these.

Be interesting but maybe it was reconditioned? Never seen a brand new pump except from Ford stock.
