Bought one of these recently, but not entirely sure what to make of it ?

The auction says "genuine Ford" with two white wires, one black & one grey.

The sensor I received has two black wires, one white & one blue  Roll Eyes

I phoned the seller & he said.... "It's a new one & just connect the two black to the two whites, the white to the grey & the blue to the black  Huh

Doesn't seem right to me & I don't want to end up frying the ECU, so any advice please  Smiley

hi jc

it's just a universal lambda. they do tend to come with different coloured wiring.

the 2 blacks are for the heater which i think are 12volts (not sure), the other 2 are an earth and a signal (1 volt).

shouldn't be any damage if you get them mixed up, but i'd try wiring it up as per the sellers instructions.

Cheers mate  Wink.....I've found a wiring chart on 'Cats direct' that shows blue as the signal & white as the earth, so it should be okay  Smiley
