Hi all New to the site but thought I would ask a question anyway. My problems is my hydraulic pipe from serv to clutch has a hole in it, meaning no pressure with my wet clutch. I need to replace this pipe is there an "easier" way than dropping the gearbox to get to pipe end . Any suggestions welcomed. Scorpio '96 2.5 TDi Editted. I cannt get this pipe anywhere does anyone know of a place I can get this manufactured. pipe would be a female to female pipe that come from wet clutch-- through to inspection plate. I NEED HELP HERE

Hi just to let you know the derv scorp doesnt have a 'wet clutch' as such, but has a hydraulic release bearing i may possibly still have the one i took off the manual box which is goin into my cossie as i'll be using a cable clutch with that. i'll have a rumage in the garage at the wkend and see if i still have it... im afraid you may have to remove the box as the inspection cover for bleeding the clutch is quite small Matt

If you have the part that would be great tried quick steel - left it 24 hours and it held for about 30 minutes and pressure found a way through. I stripped out the pipe now and trying to flare end and join pipe that way, Hopefully putting it back together tonite, will let all know how it goes

Try one of the HYDRAULIC agents to be found in Yellow Pages. They can join and manufacture pipes to fit. All you need is a nut and an olive and a joiner Even 8mm /10mm centrl heating jointers should work if the pipe sizes are the same.

Have done this on more than one occasion Then you can use ordinary brake tubing from any good factor, to make a replacement pipe from the master cylinder down to where your join is. HTH Regards Dave
