hi guys, have just dropped a 24v bob in my xr4 and it wont go. it starts and runs for about 2 secs then stops. have the right loom and ecu. it dosent have an exhaust on it at the moment and as will be running without a cat the post lambda sensors are disconnected. it dosent have an air filter on it at the moment (awaiting a k&n) and it is still on the xr4 fuel relay which dosent look compatable according to the drawing. could any of these reasons be the cause ?. any advice much appreciated, starting to scratch my head now Huh  cheers pete.

Hi Pete. By no means an expert here but two quick thoughts (guesses):

Too much air - manifold air leak? (had one of these last night, it dies quickly. Do you have the MAF rigged up to the air intake?

Fuel starvation? - bad relay?

Hope this helps some Smiley

also try crank sensor

the bob engine and ecu can be a bit funny when first connected, you have to let it sit at idel for a few mins so the ecu can relearn the engine
